An Activities Committee assures that residents enjoy their home away from home. Throughout the winter months they book bands and special appearances for monthly dances and Saturday night social hours. A large commercial kitchen enables monthly committees to provide meals at most events. There are also many summer gatherings offered to full-time residents.
Riverview's facilities include a large grand room, two swimming pools, two hot tubs, covered picnic and barbecue area, well-equipped exercise room with two saunas, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, billiard tables, card room, indoor shuffleboard, craft room, well-stocked library of books and videos and a large laundry facility. Activities included are line dancing, men’s and women’s choruses, painting instruction, quilting, rock painting, ceramics, and woodworking.
The resort is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, elected by the residents. A Business Administrator is responsible for administration of Association business, facilities maintenance and our off-complex RV & Boat Storage.
