Pools, Spas and BBQ/Picnic Area
Location: Next to Clubhouse
Hours: 6 AM to 11 PM Daily for Residents
There are two regular pools. One is a large Lap Pool no deeper than 4 feet. The other is called the Deep Pool and has graduated depth up to 8 feet. Regular Children Pool Hours:
10 am - 1 pm /4 - 5 pm
Summer Hours ( May 21st through Sept 30th) for Children is:
10 am - 1 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm.
Pool Rules are Posted in Pool Area. Some are:
(1) NO GLASS or other breakables within the fenced pool area including the picnic area.
(2) No running in pool area.
(3) Children in diapers are not permitted in water.
(4) Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult resident.
There are 2 spas in the pool area. One is indoor. One is outdoor between the two large pools.
SPA rules:
You must be 18 years of age or older to use the SPA.
Warning!! Persons suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, Heart and/or circulatory disorders, pregnancy or other serious medical problems are advised against use of the spas. Drowsiness and possible unconsciousness can result from the use of alcohol and certain types of medication while using a spa. Extreme caution is recommended. If you fall into either of these categories, don't come alone. NO ONE under 18 is permitted to use the SPAS.
BBQ/Picnic Area: It is recommended to have a reservation if you plan to have a group larger than 4 persons.
Multi-Purpose Room
Location: Clubhouse
Hours: Same as Clubhouse
The Multipurpose Room is located next to the Shuffleboard Courts. Room reservations are required. Several organized card and game clubs meet in this room. They are: Party Bridge, Duplicate bridge, pinochle, thirty-one, cribbage, Po-Ke-No. Other groups meet as well including beading, shirtweaving and bible study.
Craft Room
Location: Club House
Hours: Same as Clubhouse
The Craft Room has 10 large tables with chairs, two kilns (one for porcelain dolls, one for ceramics), and sink area. Only trained and/or experienced persons may use kilns, Instruction is required. There are many craft groups that meet on a regular basis with volunteer instructors.
RULES:
(1) Do not clean brushes in the sink. Do NOT pour hazardous cleaning agents or solutions into the sink.
(2) Clean facilities, including sweeping floors, after use.
Reservation of Room required.
Club House
Location: Casablanca Drive
Hours: 5 AM - 11 PM Daily
The Club House has the following facilities: Shuffleboard Courts, Postal Mail Boxes, Meeting Rooms, Craft Room, Exercise Room, Grand Room, Kitchen, Laundry Room, Billiards & Poker Room, Library & TV Room. The Business Office is also located in the Clubhouse. There are lockers for rent in the exercise room, craft room and off the laundry room area near the pool bathrooms. There are three sets of bathrooms, with two setsl that have showers, one set with a bathtub and sauna. All are maintained by an in-house staff.
RULES:
Shoes & Shirts must be worn at all times; wet bathing suits and towels are prohibited; smoking in designated areas only; guests under 18 years of age are to be accompanied by an adult resident. Guests over 18 may use a guest pass.
NO Pets allowed. Management must approve use of kitchen facilities. Grand Room requires a reservation. Use of Grand Room by non-resident guests require prior approval of Management.
Championship Horseshoe Pits
Location: Off Kobe and Rangoon
Hours: Daylight Hours
There are 8 horseshoe pits available for use. The combination to lock for the storage area is available from the office.
Anyone interested in pitching - men or women, are welcome to come to the Riverview Pits Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m. when practice games are thrown.
Billiards & Poker Room
Location: Club House
Hours: Same as Clubhouse
There are 5 full size billiards tables and 1 snooker table. Cues & chalk are available. Used on a first come first served basis.
There are 3 poker tables. Reservation of poker tables are necessary.
